About Associated Students
The Associated Students of the University of California, San Diego (ASUCSD) are the elected and appointed representatives of the UC San Diego student body. Office of Concerts & Events Overview
The A.S. Office of Concerts and Events (ASCE) is responsible for programming events that represent the entire student body and create memorable college experiences. We host many sizes of community-building events from smaller open mic nights to daytime carnivals, all the way up to the Sun God Festival. Our pillars are input, accessibility, and recognizability.
Position Description
The Vice President for Concerts and Events is the liaison between the A.S. Concerts and Events team, the broader staff of the Association, and the Student Body. Responsibilities include managing the budget, providing oversight and direction to directors (who lead sub-entities within the Office), responding to student questions and concerns, and supporting the larger ASCE team with events, socials, meetings, etc.
Key Information
Pay rate: $125-150 per week
Hours Per Week: 12+
Job Location: In-Person (UCSD Main Campus) and Off-Site work
Responsibilities:

Managing the office budget.

Providing oversight and direction to directors (who lead sub-entities within the Office).

Responding to student questions and concerns.

Supporting the larger ASCE team with events, socials, meetings, etc.
Required Qualification:

Must be a UC San Diego Undergraduate Student and available to work on campus.
