Applying for positions within Triton Television
Position(s)
- Project Manager
Triton Television is UCSD’s student-run filmmaking studio, providing resources to student filmmakers and complimentary videography services to UCSD student organizations and Associated Students offices.
Project Managers oversee projects (both within UCSD and external clients) that request Triton Television’s services. Their responsibilities include:
- Discussing expectations, deliverables, and timelines with requesting organizations
- Assembling a crew to film and edit events, which can involve teaching newer members how to use equipment and coordinating with the production team
- Ensuring that all deliverables are completed and sent to the requesting organization by the agreed-upon deadline
To apply for the Project Manager role, applicants must:
- Be a Producer in Triton Television (have completed either the Phase 2 Internship or the Junior Producer Program)
- Be available to attend and actively participate in weekly admin meetings and GBMs, as well as assist with organizing other TTV events
- Be able to collaborate effectively in teams, as there will be three Project Managers working together
