About Associated Students
The Associated Students of UC San Diego (ASUCSD) is the official voice of the undergraduate student body. Through leadership, advocacy, and service, we foster student engagement, strengthen campus life, and connect students with the administration and the greater San Diego community. Our mission is to empower students to grow as leaders and create a lasting impact on campus and beyond.
About the AS Office of College Affairs
The AS Office of College Affairs, under the Office of Communication, works to unite UC San Diego’s eight undergraduate colleges under the motto “Eight Colleges. One Great University.” The office is led by the Associate Vice President (AVP) who coordinates events, budgets, and daily operations while fostering collaboration between college councils, elected senators. This is all done under the set of guidelines set up by the AS Constitution and Standing Rules. Through meetings, programming, and strategic communication, we bridge gaps and build a more connected campus community.
About the Commision on All Campus Transfer Representation and Advocacy (CACTRA)
The Commission on All-Campus Transfer Representation and Advocacy (CACTRA) is looking for five (5) Committee members to join our team!
An independent Commission under Associated Students Office of College Affairs (OCA), CACTRA works to actively highlight the transfer student body experience through advocacy and platforming consistent transfer-centric social events throughout all ten weeks in the quarter, all three quarters in the year. Think bonfires, big/littles, basketball games, game nights, study jams, town halls, etc: held by transfer students for transfer students!! Our goals: to foster a living, breathable triton transfer community across all eight colleges, for students living on- and off-campus, and to shape that space so that it can live on in the foreseeable future.
Meetings for Committee members will be 1 hour every other week, and times are determined based on overlapping availability as per quarter.
