- Judicial Board Member
The AS Judicial Board is the judicial authority for ASUCSD and has the power to resolve any case or controversy arising under the Constitution or any of the rules of the ASUCSD or subordinate bodies. Judicial Board conducts hearings for grievances and reviews election committee appeals as needed. The board meets as-needed during the year for trainings and as summoned by a grievance. Judicial board members are appointed for the duration of their time at UC San Diego.
Position Expectations:

To attend all skill trainings for Judicial Board Members

To remain engaged in the Judicial Board space for the duration of their time at UC San Diego

To assist in updating the Judicial Board Rules as needed

To provide availability and become available as needed when the Judicial Board is called upon

To remain neutral during cases
This position is non-stipended. Expected time commitment: 0-2 hours per week/month.
Please note: The AS Judicial Board is NOT the UC San Diego Academic Integrity Review Board.
