- Director of Alumni Relations
As the Director of Alumni Relations for the Office of the President at UC San Diego, you will play a vital role in strengthening the connection between current students and alumni through strategic engagement initiatives. This position requires approximately 10-15 hours per week and include attending events with the Student Body President, potential travel, and the responsibility of building a robust student engagement network. The position is paid by a weekly stipend.

Qualifications:

Group facilitation skills needed & experience with collaboration

Event planning experience

Experience working with Alumni (not required)
Responsibilities:

Attend meetings with UC San Diego Alumni partners, including the Alumni Board

Host forums and other events with Alumni, in collaboration with our Director of Programs & Initiatives

Communicate decisions, policies, and updates to the Student Body President and office clearly

Connect student organizations to Alumni for funding and other reasons
Commitment:

Attend weekly Office of the President staff meetings (online or in-person based on President's team needs)

Attend Office of the President staff bonding which will occur two times throughout quarter

Attend check-ins with President weekly
