ABOUT ASSOCIATED STUDENTS
The Associated Students of the University of California San Diego are the elected and appointed representatives of the UC San Diego undergraduate student body. ASUCSD works to promote student engagement through its services and leadership opportunities. ABOUT THE OFFICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE AFFAIRS
The Office of Environmental Justice Affairs works to highlight the intersections of environmental and social justice, to ensure assembly and university decisions reflect principles of sustainability, and to advocate for marginalized communities. We are a small, dynamic team with a broad mandate: building platforms for environmental advocacy, aggregating data and resources to promote equity, and strengthening partnerships across campus.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Time Commitment: 10-12 hours per week, 33 weeks
Pay: $40/week
Duties of the Communications and Partnership Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement a unified communications strategy for the Office, including website, newsletters, and social media presence.
- Coordinate outreach and partnerships with student organizations, other A.S. organs, faculty researchers, and external groups focused on environmental justice.
- Draft press releases, newsletters, and public statements in consultation with the Director of Campus Partnerships and the AVP.
- Integrate evaluation metrics (e.g., attendance, engagement surveys, learning outcomes) to improve programming quality and relevance.
- Support inter-departmental collaborations by creating communication toolkits, partnership briefs, and post-collaboration reports.
