The Associated Students of the University of California San Diego are the elected and appointed representatives of the UC San Diego undergraduate student body. ABOUT THE OFFICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE AFFAIRS
The Office of Environmental Justice Affairs works to highlight the intersections of environmental and social justice, to ensure assembly and university decisions reflect principles of sustainability, and to advocate for marginalized communities. We are a small, dynamic team with a broad mandate: building platforms for environmental advocacy, aggregating data and resources to promote equity, and strengthening partnerships across campus.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Duties of the Technical Projects Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Support quantitative projects for the Office of Environmental Justice Affairs, including environmental mapping (e.g., air quality, noise, climate vulnerability), auditing A.S. carbon emissions, and integration with demographic/equity indicators.
- Acquire and manage data for office initiatives, from data collection (sensor networks, surveys, CalEnviroScreen overlays) to cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
- Develop accessible dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to students, administrators, and community partners in clear, compelling formats.
- Support policy and advocacy efforts by producing evidence-based analyses that inform recommendations to the A.S. Senate, UCSD administration, and local organizations.
