The primary responsibility of a Student Advocate is to meet with students and advise them on the Student Conduct and Academic Integrity process. They hold two weekly office hours to help students with cases. They also attend weekly meetings for office updates and training, attend an average of 1-3 reviews (3 hours each) per quarter, and attend/help with office events. The qualities we are looking for in a student advocate are strong interpersonal skills, adequate writing skills, and a strong drive to help students in need. Experience in advising is preferred but not required. This position receives a stipend of $40 per week.
