About the AS Office of College Affairs
The AS Office of College Affairs, under the Office of Communication, works to unite UC San Diego’s eight undergraduate colleges under the motto “Eight Colleges. One Great University.” The office is led by the Associate Vice President (AVP) who coordinates events, budgets, and daily operations while fostering collaboration between college councils, elected senators. This is all done under the set of guidelines set up by the AS Constitution and Standing Rules. Through meetings, programming, and strategic communication, we bridge gaps and build a more connected campus community.

Director of Programming

Compensation: Stipend of $60/week for 25 weeks 

Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week

Overview:
The Director of Programming is in charge of all programming within the Associated Students Office of College Affairs. This includes two large scale legacy events like Bloom Bash and All Council Retreat. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help Plan Bloom Bash and All Council Retreat

  • Manage the all council collaboration and enchantment fund and the council student organization collaboration fund.

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Outreach and the College Council Coordinator to collaborate with each college council once per academic year. 

  • Provide support for event planning and logistics across the Association

  • Be flexible, plan additional events when necessary
