Position(s)

  • Chief of Staff

Responsibilities: 

- Assist in managing the office’s projects, staff, and resources throughout the academic year.
- Serve as the point of contact for the office when the AVP is unavailable.
- Manage documentation, scheduling, and coordination of events such as town halls.
- Support the AVP in coordinating funding and policy changes related to student organizations.
- Assist with Organizational Funding Requests, including reviewing applications and helping coordinate the funding appeals process.
- Support the AVP in all AS-related communication, including Committee Meetings, Senate Meetings, and collaborations with other AVPs/offices.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with UCSD student org processes (e.g., CSI, TAP forms, funding procedures).
- Prior involvement in student life or leadership roles on campus.
- Experience working with data or finances is a plus (not required).
- Strong public speaking skills and confidence in presenting to diverse groups.

Details: 
Stipend: $80/week
Duration: 30 weeks
