The Programming Director oversees the station schedule and DJ affairs. They are in charge of creating the schedule at the beginning of every quarter and enforcing content regulations and attendance policies for every DJ. They also serve as the point of contact between DJ’s and the station administration. The Programming Director is also responsible for the DJ Training Program, during which trainees become acquainted with both the station and how to DJ. 

 

We are looking for someone who:

 

-Loves music and the culture KSDT aims to provide

 

-Is self-motivated and dedicated

 

-Is.comfortable working in team environments and leading a group of interns

 

-Is friendly, approachable, and is attentive to individual needs 

 

-Is a good communicator and can comfortably manage 50+ DJs

 

Preferred:

 

-At least 2 quarters of previous DJ experience

 

This role requires 5-10 hours of commitment each week. Mandatory hours are spent attending weekly staff meetings, leading internship meetings, and hosting office hours. This role is a year-long paid stipend position
