- Health & Wellbeing Liaison
This position deals directly with many aspects of student health and well-being, with a particular focus on mental health. With the recent passage of the CAPS fee, there are new avenues for collaborating with campus partners such as, CAPS (Counseling and Psychological Services) and HPS (Health Promotion Services), and increasing graduate and professional student access to services, resources, and programs that support their health and well-being. This position largely consists of attending relevant meetings, planning events in the arena of health and well-being in collaboration with campus partners, and giving suggestions for improving health and well-being on campus.
The appointment to Liaison will last until the end of the academic year and the stipend adjusted for the number of months of the appointment. The expected time commitment is 5 to a maximum of 8 hours per week.

The Health and Wellbeing Liaison shall:
- Host a quarterly town hall among graduate and professional students on student health and well-being issues
- Collect graduate and professional student feedback on student health and wellness.
- Write a section in the VP Campus Officer report every quarter, and at least once a year on the GPSA website.
- Coordinate with appointed graduate students on university committees that serve as oversight or advisory bodies on topics such as student health insurance, well-being, and mental health.
- Attend Student Affairs Advisory Committee meetings and meet quarterly with VP Campus.
- Keep detailed, accurate, up to date records of committee meetings.
Compensation: $2,500 annually.
